Did you know that WHATSAPP can EASILY be synced to more than one device ???
It is so simple to now access WHATSAPP on the computer / laptop SIMULTANEOUSLY and type comfortably, rather than fiddle with not-as-dextrous fingers on the phone pad . The computer screen chat layout may take a little time getting used to , but its so worth it , especially with multiple work groups , remote connections and the work-from-home environment. You don't have to keep switching from keyboard to phone pad. Here's how to sync a second device :

Discovered the DAY ONE APP today !!
Easy to post online journal , a dumping ground jots , pictures , voice notation and more !!! Just the thing a girl needs to document her abundant days !!! ![]() "Quick Steps" (MS Outlook) throws a lifeline , helps channel focus on pending action points , and prevents drowning in a sea of emails 🖥🖱💽🖥 💡💡 Here's a simple method : 1. Create a separate folder in a prominent location on your email folder-bar , titled " Pending Action " 2. Use QUICKSTEPS in Outlook to create a short cut that enables you to dump emails there with a simple right click . Too easy !! ( Quicksteps / New / (Select task) Move to folder / (Specify which one) ) ( For the adventurous , create a further key-combo short cut ( e.g. Ctrl+Shift+1 ) to save drag-drop time . Just hit these keys while hovering over the email and voila , the action point disappears to where it needs to go ) 3. Go over contents of this folder , marking them UNREAD at the end of every day so you can see how many action points are still pending. 4. Review daily , or as often as needed. 5. When task is complete , move to the respective permanent/completed folder or delete ⚡⚡⚡ ![]() In this age of instant communication , it would be nice if senders were mindful of simple etiquette and politeness , just as they would be in a conventional meeting or conversation.🎧😊 1.Avoid trigger-happy multiple pictures of the same event or object. Select the best one. No one wants to see your birthday cake from ten different angles. 2. Precede videos with a 10 word summary on its content , duration and personal rating. This shows the receiver that you value their time , and gives them the option to schedule and enjoy their viewing 💡💡 ( This has to be my favourite ) 😏💜😏 E.g. Lovable dancing cat , 2 minutes , 1 star Informative doco on pyramids , 5 minutes , 3 stars. 3. If you are passionate about a topic and bombarding friends with the same , would be good to ascertain their interest first. 4. Likewise , daily "good mornings" and "good nights" could do with the same courtesy. 5. Creating groups for the specific purpose of wishing people for an annual public holiday is a waste of internet time and space. At this point , we could all do with group-declutter and not the creation of more. Purpose should precede group-formation , and a good one at that. 6. Chain-mails are selfish and burden others with the onus of responsibility of forwarding the same or worrying about what would happen to them if they didn't. ( The strong hearted junk them at the pain of death ) 7. My pet peeve - Negative Nancy type forwards. Even if the world were ending tomorrow, there's not much we can do , so why trouble others ? Let's enjoy the moment , shout out to loved ones and emulate the band on the Titanic. 💡💡💡 Optional Tip - Adjust settings on your phone to "NOT SAVE" incoming pictures , unless you specifically want to , and do so manually. This puts you in control of space utilization and renders your albums more purposeful. A convenient little trick for tired thumbs ! Make sure you select the correct mic icon - there are two. One for voice messages , the other that converts speech to text. Speak slowly and mechanically in a quiet place for best results. Say "comma" , "Question mark" … when you need these interjections inserted. The Dictation feature was added in the latest WhatsApp update, and is available on both iPhone and Android. First, go into the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and make sure you've got the latest version of WhatsApp installed. Then follow these steps:
Once you've finished your message, check it over and then hit send. When you're speaking into the microphone, remember to talk clearly and enunciate words – as turning speech into text is very tricky for apps. It's also best to dictate your message in a quiet place, to give your microphone the best chance of picking up your words. You can always edit your dictated message before you send it anyway, to correct any typos that may appear. ![]() Remember the casette tapes of the 70's and 80's ? Writing down lyrics meant stopping and starting the cassette while i scribbled the words .
