List 100 recipes and hacks that you can use over the weeks ahead "100 WAYS TO...." was suggested to me by my mentors Bob Baker and Pooki Lee on a course targeted to "Increase Abundance" in our lives. At first A HUNDRED WAYS seemed superfluous but then , when i reached 130 within a couple of days , i realized that its brainstorming with a difference, covering many aspects - the obvious first of all , the mundane, the silly , the outrageous , the deep thoughts , the soul searching .... Truly , responses and possibilities are endless . When done , the issue at hand seems so much easier to handle. Even if 2-3 solutions out of the 100 are workable (and you buckle down to do the work ) , you are three steps better than when you started , and on your road to success.

Regular push-ups have always been a challenge for me . Maybe because I've begun them so late in life , or just have weak shoulders / upper body ? Today at the gym , trainer Michael taught me a practical hack called "wall push ups" that help hone the technique before lying face down on the floor and putting incorrect pressure on the shoulders ( which are often the weakest part of one's body he said ) . He also said that its' good to take 10 steps back to get something right before proceeding.😀⚡⚡⚡😀 So here i go from hating to loving push-ups , and enjoying their benefits of developing core stability and upper body strength ! Hopefully you do too. ![]() Well earned rest and solitude after a tiring early morning group workout at the gym. Time for that Holy Holly Hour in my den , sipping CARDAMOM COFFEE. 1 heaped tsp Nescafe or your favorite brew, 1 sugar ( is how i like it ) 2 pods fresh cardamom pounded. Pour in boiling water , stir , enjoy along with a savers-morning-routine.html Bonus Tip !
Current personal food hacks that help carve out more creative time during my busy week. (1) ONE MAJOR MEAL A DAY : A practice Len and myself have been following for over 25 years - Eating only one major meal daily. Dinner. Early dinner , definitely by 7.00 pm. A hearty meal with at least 4-5 food varieties , two of which are veg and at least one staple salad. Lower on carbs. Followed by fruit , dessert , yoghurt . One hearty meal a day saves me heaps in shopping , prep and washing up time. Slight hunger pangs keep me active and alert throughout. Munching on readily cut fruit and nuts , maybe a couple of biscuits and a dip is very enjoyable. Definitely no meat or fish for me through the day. Dinner then become very enjoyable , much awaited and truly relished !! (2) HOME COOKED - BOUGHT OUT COMBO FOOD PLAN : In order to help my blog take off and give me the frequent creative windows needed , i have been ordering vegetarian food twice weekly ( Monday and Wednesday ) from a friend. Great help and immense time saver. I would definitely advocate a mix of home-cooked and bought-in (healthy) food for that spark and variety , whilst ensuring i don't stay away from the kitchen completely. Thank you Hal Elrod for this gem that has supported me for the last couple of years , grounded my days through the Covid year 2020 , Kept me sane and structured.
S - SOLITUDE A - AFFIRMATIONS V - VISUALIZATION E - EXERCISE R - READING S - SCRIBING (journalling) This little routine is indeed a life SAVER and helps transform that small section of time into a MIRACLE MORNING indeed , as well as productive day. (( Have adapted mine to read as S.A.V.E.R.S + 🎵🎵🎵 Piano Practice 😊😊💖 ....................... Insert your own little passion project !! )) ![]() Capture those fleeting lightning valuable thoughts and CREATIVE INSPIRED IDEAS !! Ideas are like butterflies - they flit in and out within seconds , gone before you know it. Scatter (cheap) tiny notebooks all over the house ! ( In every room ) ( And in every handbag ! ) ( And near the toilet / shower ) I'm often jumping out of the shower and jotting thoughts , leaving the treadmill at the gym to record something that resonated .... Yes, you could use your smart phone …. but nothing like handwritten scribbles to enhance that ability to recall ! Like Mathew McConaughey ( an avid note-taker ) said - " he writes not to remember but to forget " . Free up that mental RAM for new thoughts ! Set aside a special note book for CREATIVE IDEAS. Topics that could be monetized , ideas that you are extremely passionate about and want to pursue. A PowerPoint ppt could also work wonders here. Large font. Slideshow . Some ideas you can run with , some head to the recycle bin ... but all of them teach you something. |
